Song of the Week: The Futureheads strike gold

“Struck Dumb,” The Futureheads’ return-to-form new single from an as-of-yet-untitled upcoming album is a great Monday morning song. If you’re having trouble getting going on a Monday morning, that is. Few rock bands make one want to jump up as The Futureheads, and after a couple sub-par efforts following their championed self-titled debut album (which included “Hounds of Love,” the Kate Bush cover that was chosen as NME’s top song of 2005), looks like the band’s got their energy back. I’m going to assume they’re all coffee drinkers…
